About the role

A Medical Technologist II is responsible for and reviews all technical work performed by Lab Assistants. Medical Technologists II perform laboratory testing within all areas of the Lab.

Responsibilities

• Reviews all technical work performed by Lab Assistants
• Performs laboratory testing within all areas of the Lab

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university
• Meets requirements of Alabama State Board of Health and CLIA personnel requirements for a Technologist

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations

• American Society of Clinical Pathologists
• American Medical Technologist
• MT (ASCP)/MLS, MT (AMT)
