About the role

The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist plays a crucial role in the provider care team, assisting with diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patient conditions through technical and scientific knowledge. This position is responsible for performing accurate, precise, and timely laboratory tests, evaluating and reporting results, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report test results accurately and promptly
• Avoid errors and maintain high standards of quality
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
• Contribute to a positive work environment and team dynamics

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent
• MLT or MLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent)
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification
• 3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred
