Role Overview: This position involves performing clinical laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and quality in patient results, maintaining equipment, and contributing to laboratory improvements. The role may include supervising and educating team members, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Maintain high standards in testing accuracy, error documentation, and proficiency testing.Investigate and interpret laboratory data, reporting results within established timeframes.Monitor and document testing processes, ensuring proper specimen identification and error resolution.Participate in performance improvement initiatives, inspection readiness, and method development.Stay current with training, policies, and regulatory compliance, practicing safety standards.Support communication and teamwork, ensuring accurate hand-offs and resolution of issues.Contribute to cost-efficient practices and laboratory quality standards. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master’s preferred. Certification as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred. Proficiency in computer/data entry, Microsoft Office, with Epic and 3M experience advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within teams.
