Medical Technologist - Full time

Night shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday), 40 hours per week.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide timely and accurate lab results that deliver the very best care for our patients.

Methodist Southwest Medical Center (formerly Methodist Charlton Medical Center) is a 314-bed, full-service, acute-care teaching hospital serving Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster, and Glen Heights in southwestern Dallas County. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Medical Technology or a related specialty, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities
• For individuals educated outside the United States: a credential evaluation (equivalency statement) from a recognized service showing equivalence to the above requirements
• Current or eligible certification/registration as a Medical Technologist
• ASCP certifications obtained after January 2004 and AMT certifications obtained after January 2006 must be kept current through continuing education as required by the respective associations
• Certified Medical Technologist work experience
