Medical Technologist Core Lab/Blood Bank (Part-Time, Core Lab/Overnights

Responsibilities

Performs routine and special diagnostic test procedures, supports Quality Control and documentation, functions verification, instrument maintenance, associated specimen collection, and clerical work as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma GED.
• Completion of a medical lab science program or medical lab technician. MT, MLT or issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists equivalent or eligible to take such exam.
• One year of clinical internship or Laboratory experience.

Qualifications

• MLT (Required).
• Associate's degree required.
• Completion of a medical lab science program or medical lab technician. MT, MLT or issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists equivalent or eligible to take such exam.
• May have Laboratory area specific certification.
• One year of clinical internship or Laboratory experience.

Skills

Blood Bank experience a plus!

PT, 20 hours per week, Overnights - 10 pm - 6:30 am + every 3rd weekend (2/3 holidays/ year)
