About the role
We're seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with Microbiology experience.
Requirements
- Experience with Gram stain and specimen plating/planting
- MLT candidates are welcome to apply
- Eligible to sit for the MT certification exam within 12 months of hire and obtain certification within one year of eligibility
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiology testing and specimen analysis
- Conduct quality control and equipment maintenance
- Prepare specimens, reagents, and laboratory solutions
- Review and report accurate test results
- Troubleshoot laboratory workflow and equipment issues
- Assist with training new staff and students
