Medical Tech Cert - Rapid Response Lab - 32 hrs - Evenings

Join our Rapid Response Lab Team in Springfield, MA, and bring your exceptional talents to a team that makes a real impact—every single day. You will be responsible for providing highly skilled analysis of blood, fluids, and tissue samples.
Responsibilities
- Determine normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
- Analyze blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures.
- Ensure operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college/university or Associate’s Degree in an MLT certification program.
- MT, MLS, or MLT-ASCP or equivalent level certification by one of the professional societies. Must be eligible to obtain certification within the first year of employment if not already certified.
- Prior experience preferred in one or more of the following: Blood Bank, Microbiology, Bacteriology, Virology, Parasitology, Mycology, Mycobacteriology, Immunology, Molecular Diagnostics, Core Lab, Hematology, Coagulation, Routine Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Special Chemistry.
Pay
Pay Range: $30.10 - $48.15 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
