About the role

The Medical Staff/Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for healthcare professionals at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the credentialing process for healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with medical staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers to facilitate credentialing
  • Prepare and submit credentialing applications to regulatory bodies
  • Monitor and update credentials as necessary
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to credentialing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare credentialing
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Current certification in Credentialing preferred
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Strong attention to detail
