About the role
The Medical Staff/Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for healthcare professionals at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital.Responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing process for healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with medical staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers to facilitate credentialing
- Prepare and submit credentialing applications to regulatory bodies
- Monitor and update credentials as necessary
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to credentialing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare credentialing
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Current certification in Credentialing preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail
