Verifies lab specimens and ensures timeliness and accuracy of pickups.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize lab specimens in the warehouse or at a client location
• Confirm specimen counts to be correct
• If at a client location, verify in the client's dispatching system
• Confirm specimen count to be correct in CXT, software program
• Ensure drivers are using manifests and/or bags for proper clients
• Sort specimens into appropriate bins for each lab
• Verify that the drivers who pick up any sorted specimens are taking them to the correct labs
• Verify that all specimens are picked up by courier and delivered to labs immediately after completion
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or some college
• Knowledge of basic math
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, email exchange
• Customer service experience
• Team player with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Ability to lift or move heavy packages
