About the role
Support primary care providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time, including capturing medical history, physical exams, assessments, and plans. Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes, prepare after-visit summaries, and assist with clinical documentation improvement by reviewing records and supporting team huddles. Provide administrative support such as placing orders and referrals.
Requirements
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Typing speed of 70+ words per minute
- Commitment to at least one year
Qualifications
- Fluency in additional languages (preferred)
- Prior clinical experience (preferred)
