Medical Scribe Opportunity - Emergency Dept & Clinic Opportunities

About the role

Medical Scribes work side-by-side with healthcare providers (physicians, PAs, NPs) following them around the ED to document patient visits into the electronic medical record system as everything occurs. This is a paid position with paid training, ideal for those pursuing or interested in a career in healthcare. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits into the electronic medical record system in real-time while shadowing healthcare providers in the ED.
• Work as an essential part of a healthcare team, acting as the physician’s right-hand.
• Gain clinical exposure and knowledge through hands-on experience.

Requirements

• College degree, or current enrollment in a 2-4 year program.
• Minimum of 2-4 shifts per week.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain strong organizational skills.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Responsible, mature individual with a passion for healthcare and learning.
• Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM.
• Comfortable with computers.
