Medical Scribe (Full-Time) – Ophthalmology, Westwood

Job Duties

• Accurately document medical data in real-time during patient exams
• Prepare charts by entering referral info, surgical history, and known diagnoses
• Assist physicians in closing encounters and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
• Provide light patient education and complete forms (e.g., return-to-work/school)
• Manage medication refill authorizations under physician supervision
• Support record keeping: abstracting, scanning, and cataloging into the EMR
• Provide general clerical support

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of the clinical setting
• Passionate about providing exceptional support to physicians and patients
• Experience in medical scribing preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Salary

$23.58-33.05 hourly

Work Schedule

M-F 8am-5pm
