VIP Rheumatology is a private practice dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients. The Medical Scribe position is integral to this mission, supporting physicians in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Thoughtfully and accurately document patient encounters, capturing their stories and clinical notes during consultations.
• Maintain and update patient medical records, histories, and treatment plans with the utmost attention to detail.
• Absorb and create referral letters, lab requisitions, and other documents that guide patient care.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR) with a commitment to compliance and excellence.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a seamless, compassionate care experience.
• Always uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with some college or a college degree encouraged.
• Previous healthcare experience or knowledge of medical terminology, especially in rheumatology, is a plus.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Prior experience with eClinical Works (ECW) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are necessary for a dynamic clinical environment.
• A warm, empathetic, and detail-oriented personality is crucial.
