Medical Scribe

About the role

The Medical Scribe supports primary care providers by documenting patient encounters in real time, assisting with clinical workflows, and ensuring accurate, detailed medical records.

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient visits in real time
• Coding with ICD-10 and CPT
• Preparing after-visit summaries
• Supporting clinical documentation improvement
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as ordering referrals and addressing team needs
• Reviewing medical records

Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Adaptability to workflows
• Dependability and teamwork
• Positive attitude and sense of ownership
• Commitment to at least 1 year in the role
• Ability to work full-time hours and maintain excellent attendance
• Adherence to HIPAA and safety policies

Preferred: Fluency in additional languages and typing speed.
