Medical Scribe

Responsibilities

• Accurately document the physician dictated patient history (including family, social and past medical), physical exam, as well as procedures, lab and test results, diagnoses and any other information pertaining to the patients encounter in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, completion of medical terminology course or one year medical terminology experience required.
• Proficient computer skills required including the ability to learn various software programs for dictation and charting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to actively listen, observe and document events accurately and clearly.
• Knowledge of proper English, spelling and grammar.
