Medical Scribe

About the role

Do you enjoy getting a glimpse of the medical back office? Working as a medical scribe is an excellent opportunity in a medical environment for anyone seeking clinical hours in order to attend grad school with a focus on medicine. Position located in Edmonds with travel to Seattle as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing medical documentation for accuracy
• Using EMA EMR to document all pertinent elements of a patient exam accurately and thoroughly
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent.

Skills

• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
• High level of computer literacy
• Highly organized
• Very detail oriented
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Pay

Wage Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Schedule

Typical Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5:00 pm
