Medical Scribe

Working as a medical scribe is an excellent opportunity in a medical environment for anyone seeking clinical hours in order to attend grad school with a focus on medicine. This position is a great opportunity for gap year college graduates in need of clinical hours for grad school applications.

Locations and Schedule

• Locations: Issaquah and Mercer Island
• Typical Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am–5:00 pm

Pay

$23.00 – $26.00 per hour (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1–3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
• High level of computer literacy
• Highly organized and very detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for accuracy
• Use EMA EMR to document all pertinent elements of a patient exam accurately and thoroughly
• Other duties as assigned
