About the role
The successful candidate will be a Medical Scientist - Senior based at University Hospital Waterford. The role involves conducting advanced laboratory tests and providing expert medical advice to healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conducting complex laboratory tests and interpreting results
- Providing expert medical advice to healthcare professionals

Requirements
- BSc in Medical Science or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualifications in Medical Science or relevant field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a senior laboratory setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medical Science or equivalent
- Membership of relevant professional bodies
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Good computer literacy, including proficiency in laboratory software
