Medical Science Liaison - Southeast Central

Responsibilities

• Facilitate high-quality study execution as a primary liaison with clinical trial sites
• Develop specialized knowledge in multiple therapeutic areas, acting as a scientific expert in IBD
• Establish and nurture relationships with opinion leaders and clinical investigators in the region
• Provide scientific insights and support to various cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs and Clinical Development
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations in all activities

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a medical credential (NP, RN, PA) required; terminal degree (PharmD, PhD) preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of Medical Science Liaison experience
• Experience with drug pre-approval (pre-PDUFA) as an MSL is mandatory
• Strong expertise or experience in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)/gastrointestinal (GI) or immunology is highly favored
• Proven skills in written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex scientific material effectively
• Demonstrated competency in relationship-building, networking, and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to travel 70% of the time and permanent residency within the assigned region is required

Pay

$200,000 – $230,000 annually
