Medical Science Liaison (Renal) - NYC/Boroughs/Long Island
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate, navigation, legal, EEO, etc. Preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the posting.
Content:
- Intro paragraph about AstraZeneca, mission, etc. Could be "About the role" maybe? Actually "About the role" heading could contain description of role and mission. We'll include a About the role
with paragraphs summarizing the role description (the first paragraphs). Must not invent or summarize away detail; we must preserve all substantive info. So we need to include the description verbatim? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." Means we should keep the content, not omit details. But we can reformat into HTML; we can keep the same sentences. We can break into paragraphs.
We need sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We need to decide which sections have content.
From posting:
- "Typical Accountabilities" section lists duties/responsibilities. That maps to Responsibilities.
- "Essential Requirements" and "Desirable Requirements" map to Requirements and Qualifications? Usually Requirements = essential, Qualifications = desirable? But we can treat Essential Requirements as Requirements, Desirable Requirements as Qualifications. Or we could combine. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we might combine Requirements and Qualifications into one? But they ask to use headings for those specific names if content exists. We have both essential and desirable content, so we can have both sections.
- Skills: maybe from "Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills", "Strong leadership capabilities", "Excellent project management ability", "Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment", "Ability to travel 50-70%". Those could be Skills.
- Benefits: "Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans." Also mention incentives: short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards, commissions for sales roles. That's part of Benefits? Could be separate but we have Benefits heading.
- Pay: "The annual base pay for this position ranges from $149,535 to $240,594." That's Pay.
- Schedule: Not explicitly mentioned; maybe travel percentage indicates schedule? Not schedule. No explicit schedule info. So we should NOT create Schedule section.
- About the role: The introductory paragraphs describing AstraZeneca mission and role overview. We'll put that.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO statement, date posted, closing date, etc. Remove those.
We must not include application instructions.
We must not repeat job title as heading.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
Let's craft.

Skills
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; strong leadership capabilities; excellent project management ability; thorough knowledge of regulatory environment; ability to travel 50-70% (percentage varies with geography).
Alternatively we could keep skills as list. But we already have those in Requirements; maybe better to keep Skills separate with those specific skill items. However we already listed communication, leadership, project management, regulatory knowledge, travel ability in Requirements. To avoid duplication, we could move those to Skills and keep Requirements more about experience/education. But the instruction: preserve all substantive info; duplication is okay but maybe not needed. However we can keep them in Requirements and not have Skills section if it's thin. But we have some skill-specific items not captured elsewhere: maybe "Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills", "Strong leadership capabilities", "Excellent project management ability", "Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment", "Ability to travel 50-70%". Those are indeed skills. We could move them to Skills and keep Requirements focused on education/experience. Let's do that. Thus: Requirements: education, years experience, understanding healthcare system, networks, pharma industry experience. Qualifications: desirable items. Skills: communication, leadership, project management, regulatory knowledge, travel ability. Benefits: retirement programs, PTO, health/dental/vision, incentives (short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards, commissions for sales roles). Pay: base pay range. We must not include schedule. Now ensure we preserve all substantive info: we need to keep the description about mission etc. Already in About the role. Check we didn't miss any details: The posting also mentions "Our mission is to build an inclusive environment where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and employees..." That's EEO boilerplate; we should remove. Also "Date Posted 15-Sep-2026 Closing Date 30-Sep-2026" remove. Also "If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please complete the corresponding section in the application form." remove. Also "Our mission is to build an inclusive environment..." remove. Also "We commit to those areas where we think we can really change the course of medicine and bring big new ideas to life." Already included. Now ensure we didn't lose any responsibilities: we captured all bullet points from "Typical Accountabilities". Let's verify: Original bullet points (paraphrased): - The Renal Medical Science Liaison is a field-based professional with scientific, clinical and therapeutic area expertise responsible for providing medical and scientific support for AstraZeneca's renal marketed products, new indications for current products, and compounds in development. - Engage in scientific exchange with targeted Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Key Decision Makers (KDMs), and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) consistent with the Medical Affairs organization’s and Therapeutic Brand Teams’ objectives. - Additionally, you will identify and engage key customers with scientific expertise and business knowledge of AstraZeneca marketed products and compounds in development. - This includes developing peer-level relationships with Key Decision Makers (KDMs), HCPs and researchers consistent with Scientific and Medical Affairs strategy and objectives along with identifying pre-clinical, clinical and post-marketing study investigators in alignment with the goals of Clinical Development activities and Therapeutic Brand Teams initiatives. - As a Renal Medical Science Liaison, you will uncover barriers to optimal disease management, identify areas of greatest opportunity and readiness for improving patient outcomes, provide actionable information that enhances the value and appropriate use of AstraZeneca’s products to internal stakeholders; - respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of AstraZeneca’s products and services and - deliver appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca’s products. - Additional accountabilities include following internal standard processes and meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. - You will maintain expertise in disease state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape. - The role involves providing clinical support and delivering data presentations regionally and nationally. - You will lead and manage projects within the field medical team and therapeutic area. - Training and mentoring in the therapeutic area are encouraged, along with offering performance guidelines and mentorship to others. We have all. Now Requirements: essential requirements list: - Advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (e.g. MD, PharmD, Ph
