About The Job

Sanofi’s Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) are externally facing scientific partners that transform medical practice and shape the healthcare ecosystem using a data-driven, AI-enabled approach to deliver personalized scientific engagement to Healthcare Organizations, Healthcare Providers, and Clinical Researchers. MSLs support our products and disease states throughout the product life cycle, maximizing the impact of our innovative medicines to improve patient lives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build trusted peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, and organizations through data-driven scientific exchanges using the Scientific Engagement Model (SEM).
  • Conduct quality scientific presentations to educate healthcare providers on disease states and treatment landscapes, communicating product benefits, risks, and clinical value in an accurate, fair, and balanced manner.
  • Gather and share clinical insights from stakeholder interactions to deepen understanding of patient, healthcare provider, and healthcare ecosystem needs.
  • Engage with clinical investigators to support Sanofi's pipeline development and investigator-sponsored studies within compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with internal matrix teams (Commercial, Market Access, Medical Affairs) on territory plans, account strategies, and internal projects while prioritizing external activities.
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information related to Sanofi products and disease states and engage experts at medical conferences.
  • Document field interactions and insights in CRM within 2 business days, maintain medical account plans, complete required trainings, and monitor progress toward individual and team goals.

About You

  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical field (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD).
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies, healthcare strategy, and biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in business development within a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Familiarity with medical affairs or field-based medical roles.
  • Experience or understanding of medical teaching and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior 1+ years of experience in field medical role or pharmaceutical industry or prior experience working with healthcare systems, payers, healthcare providers, and researchers.
  • Intermediate communication and scientific communication skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with proven ability to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder relationship management skills.
