Medical Science Liaison, Rare Emergency Medicine / Northeast
- .
- Requirements: maybe "To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:" list of qualifications. Could be Requirements.
- Qualifications: maybe advanced degree etc. Could be separate but we can combine. However we need to avoid duplication. The posting includes "To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:" then bullet list of qualifications. That's likely Requirements/Qualifications. We'll treat as Requirements.
- Skills: maybe "Outstanding interpersonal consultative and communication skills..." etc. Could be Skills.
- Benefits: list of benefits: Vacation, Personal and Sick time, 15 Paid Company Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision and other Voluntary benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Tuition Assistance, Discretionary Bonus Plan, Competitive 401(k) ... etc. We'll include.
- Pay: Not specified. No pay info. So we should NOT include Pay section.
- Schedule: Not specified. No schedule. So omit.
We must not include headings with filler. So include About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills, Benefits.
We need to preserve all substantive info, not invent.
We need to format with
for each section heading. Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. Not include Job ID etc. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. The posting includes "Serb Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity employer." That's EEO boilerplate; we should remove. Also "We offer competitive compensation & benefit packages..." maybe generic; but it's not specific benefit; we can keep if it's substantive? It's generic; maybe we can drop as filler. But we already have Benefits section with specific items; the generic statement could be considered filler; better to omit. Also "Critical Needs. Immediate Action." maybe not needed; but it's part of intro; could be considered boilerplate? It's not navigation/legal; but it's a tagline. Might keep as part of About the role? It's not substantive detail about role; but we can include as part of About the role prose. However it's not detailed; but we can keep. We need to preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include the company description, role description, responsibilities list, qualifications list, skills list, benefits list. Let's extract: About the role: The paragraph after "Critical Needs. Immediate Action." up to "This position will report to the MSL Team Lead-Rare Emergency Medicine and will participate in pre-launch and launch initiatives as well as provide medical support for approved products." Also includes location coverage and residency requirement. So we can combine. We'll produce a
with that prose. Responsibilities: The bullet list after "As a Medical Science Liaison, your responsibilities will include:" includes subheadings: KOL Development and Field Engagement, Scientific Expertise, Medical Affairs Planning, Standards. Each has sub-bullets. We need to flatten? The instruction: Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can treat each top-level bullet as
- and include its sub-content maybe as part of same
- text (including sub-bullets). Could also nest
- inside
- but that's still a list. Simpler: produce
- with each duty as
- containing the description (including sub-points separated by semicolons or line breaks). We'll keep as plain text.
Requirements: The list after "To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:" includes many items. We'll make
- each.
Skills: Might be overlapping with requirements; but we can separate: maybe "Outstanding interpersonal consultative and communication skills (verbal and writing)" etc. However those are already in the requirements list. To avoid duplication, we could treat the whole list as Requirements and not have Skills. But the instruction says we can have Skills section if posting has real specific content for it. The posting does mention skills like "Outstanding interpersonal consultative and communication skills (verbal and writing)", "Excellent presentation/platform skills", "Sincere desire for self-motivated continuous scientific, technical and medical learning", "Strong teaching acumen with focus on practical learning", "Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders", etc. Those are skills. However they are already in the list. To avoid duplication, we could still include Skills section with those items, but that would duplicate content. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." Duplication is not prohibited but might be redundant. Better to avoid duplication by having only one section that captures all. But we need to follow instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we can combine Requirements and Skills into one section maybe called Requirements (or Qualifications). But we need headings exactly as allowed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can choose to use Requirements and not Skills, or Qualifications and not Requirements. Which is more appropriate? The list includes qualifications (degree, experience) and skills (communication, presentation). Could split: Requirements = degree/experience; Skills = interpersonal, presentation, teaching, etc. Let's try to split.
From the list:
- Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD or equivalent) or License (RN, NP, CNP, PA or equivalent) with a minimum of a master’s degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical practice
- Demonstrated scientific and medical acumen preferably with a publication and teaching record
- Clinical acumen; preferably having clinical patient care experience, or healthcare experience working in a complex healthcare delivery system
- Demonstrated ability to master new therapeutic areas
- MSL or comparable industry experience is preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal consultative and communication skills (verbal and writing)
- Excellent presentation/platform skills
- Sincere desire for self-motivated continuous scientific, technical and medical learning
- Strong teaching acumen with focus on practical learning
- Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders in disease states of interest
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload, multi-task and manage a diverse mix of responsibilities and challenges
- Ability to identify and creatively address problems in a systematic way
- Highly self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
- Willingness and ability to work within and outside of traditional business hours, both as part of a team and independently
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel
We can separate: Requirements (education, experience, licensure, MSL experience). Skills (interpersonal, communication, presentation, teaching, self-motivation, problem solving, workload management, regulatory understanding). Qualifications maybe same as Requirements. But we need to avoid thin sections. Let's make:
- Requirements: Advanced degree..., minimum 5 years experience, MSL experience preferred.
- Qualifications: Demonstrated scientific and medical acumen..., clinical acumen..., ability to master new therapeutic areas.
- Skills: Outstanding interpersonal..., excellent presentation..., sincere desire..., strong teaching acumen..., ability to develop trust..., ability to manage..., ability to identify..., highly self-motivated..., willingness to work..., understanding of regulatory requirements.
That seems reasonable and each section has substantive content.
Benefits: list as given.
Now we need to output HTML fragment only.
Let's craft:
