Medical Science Liaison - Pennsylvania/New Jersey

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical and scientific insights to enhance local execution plans for improved patient care
• Build relationships with scientific and medical customers to stay informed on healthcare trends
• Maintain comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem to align with Otsuka’s patient-centric strategy
• Provide evidence-based information to stakeholders to improve patient outcomes
• Cultivate internal relationships and ensure cohesive execution of local medical strategies
• Disseminate healthcare landscape information based on defined priorities
• Assist in training promotional and disease state speakers, and support educational needs

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences required
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in Medical Affairs, preferably within CNS disease
• Deep understanding of health systems and experience engaging with healthcare professionals
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of marketplace dynamics and Otsuka's business model
• Excellent communication skills and proven conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to effectively lead teams and manage projects in a strategic manner
• Strong grasp of regulatory and compliance standards within the industry
