Medical Science Liaison (Pacific Northwest)

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a field-based medical and scientific expert, liaising with healthcare professionals, researchers, and decision-makers in the payer community. This role supports the marketed product and pipeline portfolio, focusing on the appropriate utilization of ADC Therapeutics’ products. The position will report to the Head of Field Medical Affairs and Medical Communications, with a territory covering the Pacific Northwest (WA, OR, ID, AK). Job level (MSL, Sr., A.D.) will be determined based on experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare professionals (HCPs) with credible, balanced, scientific information about ADC Therapeutics, its products, pipeline, research activities, and product development.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in the field.
• Develop territory plans to initiate and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Providers (HCPs).
• Maintain medical expertise and a strong understanding of hematology/oncology clinical practice.
• Cover sessions and collect insights at scientific congresses.
• Develop and demonstrate competencies in understanding and communicating relevant scientific information, including disease state, therapeutic landscape, clinical data, mechanism of action for therapeutic agents, and real-world evidence (RWE).
• Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in accordance with relevant guidelines.
• Collaborate with key functional leaders and project team members to build collegiate, compliant, and successful teams.
• Ensure alignment across functions by working in partnership with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, or PhD) preferred.
• MSL experience required; previous experience in hematology/oncology preferred.
• Proven ability to create and sustain relationships with industry leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of PhRMA, OIG, and other relevant guidelines.
• Good understanding of the clinical development process and ICH-GCP guidelines.

Additional Information

• This is a field-based role; candidates must be located within the pre-specified regional territory (Pacific Northwest: WA, OR, ID, AK).
• Travel is required, approximately 50-60% of the time.
