Medical Science Liaison, Nephrology (Southwest IA, IL, MO, NE, SD)

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical insights to the local execution plan to improve patient care
• Build and leverage relationships with scientific and medical stakeholders
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategies
• Provide evidence-based information demonstrating product value and real-world solutions
• Cultivate internal relationships to shape and execute local medical strategies
• Lead special projects as requested and handle incremental roles within FMA
• Disseminate disease state information to defined customer priorities

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences required
• Deep understanding of health systems and patient care delivery
• Minimum 3 years experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
• Outstanding business acumen with knowledge of the company’s model and market dynamics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including conflict resolution capabilities
• Ability to lead strategic projects and teams effectively
• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues in the industry
