Medical Science Liaison - Immunology - Greater Los Angeles

The Immunology Medical Science Liaison plays a crucial role in translating scientific capabilities into impactful changes in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific exchanges with medical and scientific experts, including healthcare professionals and researchers.
• Identify pre-clinical, clinical, and post-marketing study investigators.
• Provide actionable information to enhance the value and appropriate use of AZ products to internal collaborators.
• Respond to customer inquiries to ensure balanced and focused clinical and scientific information supporting the appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products and services; deliver differentiated clinical information; and provide regional and national clinical support and data presentations.

Requirements

• Advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (e.g., MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA)
• At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role
• Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content with various audiences
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel (50-70%)
• Must reside in the territory

Qualifications

• Doctoral level degree in a scientific or medical discipline (e.g., MD, PharmD, DO, PhD) is desirable but not required
• Extensive Medical Science Liaison experience is highly desirable in candidates without a doctorate level degree
• Immunology, rheumatology, or biologic experience is desirable

Benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,396- $240,594. However, base pay offered may vary based on individual performance, Company or department/team performance, and market factors. Additional benefits include a qualified retirement program, paid vacation and holidays, paid leaves, and health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage.
