As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as a scientific and clinical expert, building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals - such as physicians, mid-levels, dietitians, and functional medicine practitioners. You’ll play a key role in communicating the clinical value and science behind Dose’s products, supporting evidence-based decision-making, and helping expand patient access to better solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to provide scientific education and clinical insights about Dose’s products.
- Present and discuss clinical data, research findings, and scientific updates with HCPs in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Serve as a trusted resource to clinicians, supporting evidence-based product adoption and best practices in patient care.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Science, Marketing, and Sales to ensure scientific alignment and maximize impact.
- Develop and manage the KOL Speaker Program, including physician outreach, contract negotiation in coordination with legal, fee structures, and ongoing speaker engagement.
- Provide scientific input to internal training, strategy development, and educational initiatives.
- Stay up to date on relevant scientific literature, clinical guidelines, and industry trends.
- Collect and communicate field insights to inform medical strategy and product development.
- Develop clinical and scientific content including training materials, conference posters, case study frameworks, and data presentations.
- Represent Dose at trade show and industry meetings (e.g., DDW, AASLD), engaging with HCPs and KOLs, contributing to scientific dialogue, supporting poster or abstract presentations as applicable, and translating field insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Nutrition or Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred: MS, PhD).
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical, medical affairs, or MSL role within the healthcare, nutrition, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to critically evaluate clinical trial design, endpoints, and statistical outcomes, and translate findings for a variety of audiences.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex science for diverse audiences.
- Adaptable and comfortable engaging multiple call points - including physicians, mid-levels, dietitians, functional medicine practitioners, and independent pharmacies.
- Self-motivated and driven, demonstrating grit, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to travel up to 30% as needed for conferences, meetings, and field engagement.
