About the Role
As a Prism Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering excellence while navigating the fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape of Medical Sales. Your work will directly enhance the client experience and ensure patients and providers receive the exceptional care and support they deserve.
Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Elkin, North Carolina, PRISM is a nationwide provider of specialty home medical supplies with a core competency in advanced wound care products. PRISM serves a broad and loyal referral network of nationally affiliated and independently operated wound care clinics, as well as specialist practices and clinics in primary care, ostomy, podiatry, rehabilitation and physical therapy, general and plastic surgery, dermatology, and vascular medicine.
The Account Manager for Continuous Glucose Monitors will develop new and service existing patient referral sources for the company's Diabetes product line, targeting endocrinology and large primary care practices within a strategic geographic territory. The position requires an individual who is highly self-motivated, enjoys a high-energy work environment, and has a hunger for learning.
Responsibilities
- Market the Continuous Glucose Monitor unique patient supply service and proprietary technology to diabetes clinicians.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clinical caregivers.
- Continuously assist the company's referral network to stay apprised of the category's new products and the requirements for insurance coverage of these products.
- Perform group and individual presentations on product choices and qualification guidelines to referral sources.
- Achieve referral quotas and company objectives.
- Maintain compliance with all federal & state regulatory guidelines, accreditation standards, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively and follow through on all commitments and client needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration.
- A proven track record of accomplishments and overachievement.
- An outgoing, energetic, and pleasing personality with the demeanor and flexibility to communicate with patients, physicians, nurses, case managers, and other professionals.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
- The discipline to adhere to and operate within a highly regulated industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Training
- Paid 1-week training program held at Prism's corporate office in Elkin, NC.
- Complimentary accommodations provided for the duration of the training program.
- Upon completion of the training program, account managers begin managing a territory.
Pay
Account Managers are provided a base salary, a quarterly bonus and commission structure, plus an expense account package.
