Medical Review Coordinator

Responsibilities

Captures and reviews medical records as assigned.

Participates in Case Management and Treatment Team meetings.

Serves as an ongoing educator to all departments.

Reviews patient charts to assess admission and treatment criteria; gathers and responds to record requests; collects clinical and financial data and communicates account statuses.

Coordinates discharge referrals as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Medical, Dental, PA, or Nursing Graduate required.

Bachelor’s degree in a Health and Human Services field preferred.

Utilization Review experience preferred.

Acute care setting clinical experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $32 to $46.35.
