Medical Records Clerk
About the Role
The Medical Records Specialist, under the supervision of the Manager or designee, performs routine clerical functions in the Health Information Management (HIM) department and enters patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) according to standard procedures and specific direction in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities include sorting, scanning, indexing, and managing release of information.

Responsibilities
- Sort, scan, index, and manage the release of patient information.
- Enter patient records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Perform routine clerical functions in the Health Information Management (HIM) department.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Preferred: 1 year of medical office/record experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $17.26 - $25.87 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Full-time, Day shift.
