About the Role
The Medical Records Auditor ensures compliance with quality standards and regulations by monitoring and auditing electronic health records. This role supports quality improvement initiatives, staff development, infection control, and licensing requirements in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date quality standards and collaborate with the QA committee.
- Analyze performance data and implement QA plans to improve person-centered care and compliance across the facility.
- Monitor compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
- Support quality initiatives and collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in a health-related field or two years of healthcare education experience.
- Experience in medical records or quality improvement preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare and regulatory agencies, including Title 9, OSHA, HIPAA, and CARF.
- Strong data collection, analysis, and performance improvement skills.
