Spring River Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Records professional to join our team in Roswell, NM. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of our patients' medical information.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently maintain, update, and retrieve patient medical records in a timely and confidential manner
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to medical records management
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to resolve medical record discrepancies and answer questions
• Perform quality control measures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of medical records
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to established policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities to improve medical records management processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical records or related experience preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
