Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Cancer Care Leadership to ensure high quality and safe interpretation, delivery, operation, and monitoring of radiation safety policies, procedures, standards, and equipment for Radiation Oncology Services.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality radiation therapy while providing staff with the proper education and training and oversight to minimize radiation exposure.
- Implement and abide by Customer Service Standards.
- Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
- Support and demonstrate Family-Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Qualifications
- Radiation Therapist: ARRT in Radiation Therapy, California State license preferred.
- Clinical Transition and Implementation Physicist: M.S. or PhD in Medical Physics, or closely related field, required. 2+ years post-graduate physics experience in a program of similar size with computerized treatment planning and comparable computerized simulator/accelerator required. Experience with various clinical radiation oncology platforms preferred.
- Medical Physicist: M.S. or PhD in Medical Physics, or a closely related field, required. 3+ years clinical experience in addition to a CAMPEP-accredited residency. Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent certifying body is preferred. Experience with High Dose Rate (HDR) and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) programs preferred.
