About the role
The Medical Officer will manage occupational healthcare services at Adani Power’s Raigarh plant. The selected candidate will oversee the on-site medical centre, provide emergency medical care, conduct employee health assessments, and develop workplace wellness initiatives. The role also includes collaborating with HR and safety teams to ensure compliance with occupational health regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the on-site medical centre and emergency medical facilities.
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care during workplace incidents.
- Conduct routine employee health examinations and maintain medical records.
- Develop and implement employee wellness and preventive healthcare programs.
- Promote occupational health and industrial safety initiatives.
- Coordinate with HR and safety teams on workplace health campaigns.
- Train emergency response teams in first aid and medical protocols.
- Liaise with external hospitals and specialists when advanced care is required.
- Monitor occupational health indicators and prepare medical reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
- Valid State Medical Council registration.
- Certification in Occupational Health or Industrial Medicine is preferred.
- Experience in industrial or occupational healthcare will be an advantage.
