About the organization
TexomaCare is comprised of primary care physicians and a variety of specialists in nine local communities, providing compassionate, quality care at every stage of life. The team includes physicians, advanced practitioners, and staff working together across the Texoma region. TexomaCare is affiliated with Texoma Medical Center (TMC), a 414‑bed acute care facility in Denison, Texas — about one hour north of Dallas/Fort Worth and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. More than 3,500 employees, 400 multi‑specialty physicians, and over 100 volunteers have supported the hospital in delivering patient‑focused care for over 50 years.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi‑specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics aligned with UHS acute care facilities, and provides select services for the Behavioral Health division. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 12 markets across six states and the District of Columbia.
