Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Incidental Medical Services (IMS): Responsible for the program's delivery of IMS from end-to-end (incl. provider coordination, ordering, storage, observation, destruction).
  • Documentation: Responsible for the program’s medical documentation in the EMR (incl. physician notes, medication orders, med logs) for the program – whether directly imputed themselves or by another clinical staff.
  • Compliance & Audits: Regularly audits medical documentation in the EMR to ensure the program remains in accordance the relevant policies and standards. Leads any relevant activities as indicated in company policies and procedures – e.g. Infection Control (IC).
  • Second-in-Command: Secondary administrative authority with regard to the day-to-day operations of the facility (behind the Program Manager).
  • Staff Training: Responsible for training Clinical Technicians and program staff on any incidental medical services and relevant documentation.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) (required)
  • High school diploma or GED (required), bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent vocational schooling in a relevant field (e.g. nursing school) (preferred)
  • 1+ year(s) of nursing experience (required)
  • 1+ year(s) of behavioral healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Current Health Screen / Physical (required)
  • TB Test Clearance (required)
