About the role

The Regional Medical Director supports veterinary hospitals across a specified region, focusing on mentoring veterinarians, fostering hospital collaboration, and driving growth while ensuring high medical standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop veterinarians through mentorship, coaching, and performance reviews to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
• Strengthen hospital teamwork by sharing best practices, optimizing workflows, and providing necessary clinical resources.
• Recruit and onboard veterinary talent, supporting long-term engagement and integration of new doctors.
• Partner with hospital leadership to align medical initiatives with hospital success, including resource planning and service expansion.
• Promote regional growth by expanding services and building a strong veterinary workforce through externship and internship programs.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and current licensure.
• Experience managing multi-site hospitals; ownership or lead veterinarian experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
