Job Summary

Performs a full range of waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing; reports results. Confirms test results’ accuracy and precision. Reports laboratory findings to the pathologist and other physicians on a timely basis. Utilizes a complete understanding of testing procedures and theoretical knowledge to interpret results and troubleshoot problems encountered during testing.

What You’ll Need To Apply

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
  • Required Experience: None
  • Required Certification/License/Registry: Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 483 (Health Testing Services), Part I (Clinical Laboratory Personnel) with added specialties in clinical chemistry, and/or hematology, and/or microbiology, and/or serology.
