Role Overview This position involves utilizing laboratory skills to perform and report clearly defined procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include receiving, identifying, organizing, and prioritizing specimens for accurate and timely testing. The role requires performing laboratory procedures, quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory management. Ensuring positive patient identification is crucial to minimize errors and adverse outcomes. The technician assesses, evaluates, and draws appropriate conclusions from test results, supporting ongoing learning and completing assigned goals. Qualifications & Skills Minimum two years of experience in a medical laboratoryGraduate of an accredited MLT programState licensure and/or national certification, with full licensure obtained within six months of hireStrong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skillsAbility to perform routine lab procedures accurately and efficientlySupportive of continuous professional development
