Medical Laboratory Technician I- Chemistry- Per Diem (Temple Hospital)

Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgement regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory, or completion of an official U.S. Military medical laboratory procedures training course and holding the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician.
• Required Combination: Relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree to satisfy regulatory agency requirements.
• Experience: 1 year experience in relevant laboratory section.
