Medical Laboratory Technician/Hematology

Role: Medical Laboratory Technician/Hematology, performing routine hematology and laboratory tests in a regulated, office-based environment. Responsibilities: Conduct and document analytical procedures, review data for accuracy, escalate issues, prepare results for Laboratory Information Management System, calibrate equipment, support quality investigations, and train entry-level staff.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in laboratory science or related field, with at least 6 months of regulated laboratory experience. Knowledge of regulatory standards like Good Laboratory Practices and proficiency with laboratory techniques, automation, and LIMS workflows.Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail, strong communication, computer skills (Microsoft Office), laboratory safety knowledge, and ability to perform routine calculations. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform close work. Key Duties: Perform tests, review data, troubleshoot, support quality initiatives, and assist in training staff, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
