About the role

The Medical Laboratory Technician (Microbiology) plays a crucial role in the Laboratory Services Team at Adena Health. This position requires a strong commitment to providing accurate and high-quality laboratory testing while supporting exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Precisely and accurately perform and interpret laboratory procedures using established quality assurance protocols.
• Collect laboratory specimens according to established procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and record keeping for laboratory equipment.
• Provide guidance and support to other laboratory staff members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
• At least one year of clinical experience in a clinical laboratory as part of an associate's degree.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

Salary range: $23.22 - $31.92 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
