Summary of Position
Performs and reports various analyses of multiple specimen sources. Provides high-quality patient care and enhances patient satisfaction.
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution OR
- High school graduate or equivalent AND
- Successfully completed an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks AND
- Held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician)
- Successfully completed an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks AND
- High school graduate or equivalent AND
- Eligible for ASCP, AMT or equivalent board certification exam and must be Medical Laboratory Technician certified within 18 months of hire.
