Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician- Weekend Option

Cox Monett, 1000 E. Hwy 60, Monett, Missouri 65708, United States.

Schedule

Weekly Hours: 36. Work Shift: Day Shift (Friday‑Sunday 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM).

Pay

• Up to $6,000 sign‑on bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on blood and body fluids to determine the presence or absence of disease, monitor response to treatment, and aid in health maintenance.
• Serve as a technical resource for lesser‑credentialed staff and assist in training new or lesser‑credentialed staff.
• Troubleshoot and address instrument issues; recognize the need for service.
• Use critical thinking and clinical knowledge to assess questionable results, correlate with clinical information, and determine accuracy.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (must be obtained within 90 days) or High School diploma/equivalent with grandfathered status under CLIA regulations; associate degree or completion of an accredited MLT program for technician track.
• Experience: 1 year laboratory experience preferred; experience not specified for the scientist role.
• Licensure/Certification: Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist (AMT, ASCP, or ASCPi) required; Certified Medical Lab Technician or eligibility to sit for the exam within 90 days required for the technician role.
