About the role

As an independent contractor, this role requires strong expertise in data privacy and security practices. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant data protection regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection laws
  • Provide guidance on data privacy issues to clients and stakeholders
  • Respond to data breach notifications and investigations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in data privacy and security
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations
  • Experience working with cloud-based systems and tools
