About the role

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a lab tech to work full time nights (2300-0730) in the clinical lab. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests
• Interpret results
• Document and report results
• Maintain department equipment, instruments, and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science
• Associate’s degree
• ASCP or AMT certification (AAB certification for MLS only)
• Eligible for certification

Qualifications

• Certification/Licensure: ASCP or AMT certification (AAB certification for MLS only)
