Responsibilities
- Performs, calculates, reviews and reports laboratory diagnostic tests.
- Performs phlebotomy as needed.
- Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment.
- Understands the clinical significance of the testing performed.
- Responsible for correcting procedural / instrument issues.
- Teaches, trains, and mentors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry.
- Medical Laboratory Scientist certified or certified in the field.
- Certification to occur within 1 year of hire if certificate qualified.
- Minimum experience – MLS internship completed.
Qualifications
- Unique Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (total of 56 hours per pay).
- Shift hours are 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
- Sign On Bonus: $3,500 paid out over 2 years.
- Note: this position is posted at a level II.
