About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) with strong Blood Bank experience to join our clinical laboratory team. This role is responsible for independently performing complex laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, cells, and tissues that includes standardized microscopic, chemical, and/or bacteriological testing. Generalist experience with a passion for high-quality patient care and expertise across multiple laboratory disciplines, including Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Services. The successful candidate may hold credentials as a Medical Technologist, MLS, MLT, Med Tech, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Lab Tech, and will play a critical role in supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Must show proof of eligibility for the ASCP, ASCPi, AMT or equivalent board certification exam, upon hire.
- Must be Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist certified within 18 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous year experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in an acute-care or hospital laboratory.
- Blood Bank experience.

- Shift differential: $2.50/hour
