About the role

Regions Hospital Laboratory is currently seeking a professional, quality-focused Laboratory Services Technician to join our team. You will work as a member of a technical work team in the clinical laboratory, performing laboratory tests in the section assigned, assisting in the implementation of methodologies, participating in the training of new personnel and any student clinical rotations, assisting in the development and implementation of training programs for new personnel and students, and performing related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Member of a Technical Work Team in the Clinical Laboratory
  • Perform Laboratory Tests in the Section Assigned
  • Aid in the Implementation of Methodologies
  • Participate in Training of New Personnel and Any Student Clinical Rotations
  • Assist in the Development and Implementation of Training Programs for New Personnel and Students
  • Perform Related Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, biology, or other science-related field
  • Advanced Degree or Training (Masters in Sciences or Clinical Specialty) may substitute for preferred certification
  • Flow Cytometry Experience is Preferred
