About the role
The Medical Technologist implements the clinic's mission, goals, and objectives by providing professional clinical laboratory science services. This includes performing clinical laboratory testing, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management, and other functions to support departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing.
- Conduct proficiency testing and quality control.
- Provide professional consultation.
- Maintain and validate laboratory instruments.
- Manage and validate testing processes.
- Support departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in clinical laboratory science, one of the specialty areas, or one of the chemical or biological sciences.
- Upon hire, certification as one of the following:
- National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
- National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists, or
- National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts, or
- National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
- National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or
- National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of clinical experience.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $33.67 - $52.28 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, variable shift.
